The Shield
I have put a lot of thought into this, so I thought I would devote a page to it, explaining what it all means for those who show interest. Thank you for being here. If I could hug you, I would. *DaWiz blushes*
The Motto - Pretty self evident why I would choose three such POWERFUL words. It is what MY attitude is. Make it YOURS as well.
The Plaque - The extremities of many pointed edges, represent two main things. Firstly, they represent YOU and ALL of the other 'students' that currently attend, or will attend in the future. They also represent the MANY opportunities the Internet provides for people like yourself, to participate in a 'Work At Home' position and actually PROFIT from such a venture or ventures. Green was selected as it is such a POWERFUL and LUCKY colour.
The Knights - They are the KISA's (Knights In Shining Armour) who protect not only the Academy, but ALSO protect YOU from the dangers on the Internet. Through your learning process here, you will be more prepared to spot the scam and know how to deal with it. Knowing that the Knights are around, will give you peace of mind to feel at ease in the environs of the Academy as well as the environs of the Internet.
The Crossed Swords - Symbolizing the fact that we are prepared to fight for what we consider to be, the achievable 'success' of EVERY 'student' who enrols in the Academy. We do not accept defeat as an outcome.
The Star - The highest physical thing to aim for in the quest for Internet success. To shoot for anything less, would be doing ourselves an injustice.
The Dollar - But ONE of the objects we are trying to achieve. It is a symbol of success. It is insignificant if you don't also have health and happiness to be able to enjoy the riches, that's why it is only ONE of the goals of the Academy.
The Symbol - Chosen because it shows UNITY and BEING UNITED at the same time! We are all individually 'alone' in our work at home environment, endeavouring to be successful, but need to be 'together' to truly succeed. It is directed towards the $ and the Star and therefore, it is pointing in the right direction.
You will notice on the original Shield, that there is NO actual border around it. That is because the Academy, like the Internet, has no borders. Yes, there are restrictions on the Internet but we at the Academy, are MORE focused on our 'students' restrictions. Some are monetary and some are placed there by ourselves, and/or others, due to either the lack of appropriate skills, the lack of confidence, the lack of motivation and the inability to remain focused. The Academy acknowledges ALL of these restrictions and advises that the sooner you 'enrol,' the sooner we can begin to take the necessary steps to begin remedying ALL of these restrictions.

ONE STEP AT A TIMEI take a step and leave a footprint. Fill my footprints with YOUR feet, and follow me along the path that lies ahead. With each step I take, I move one step closer towards my destination. It will be comforting to know that YOU aren't that far behind me.  ©2005 |
